Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. A member of Democratic Party she has previously worked in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant director of communications (2009–2011), the spokesperson of the United States Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki contributed to CNN's politics coverage from 2017 through 2020. Psaki began her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and then became the governor of Iowa. Psaki was later appointed the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's presidential campaign. Psaki also served as communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012 and was the press secretary for President Obama’s 2012 campaign. 20 Psaki resigned as spokesperson for United States Department of State, on February 11, 2013. The speculations that she would replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary after he left the White House[21] were fueled by her hiring at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement of Carney on May 30th in 2014. She was recalled to the White House as Communications Director in 2015 and stayed until the end of.
